Dr. Adnan Ahmed DDS, FICOI
Dr. Ahmed joined Dental Innovations in Grand Rapids, Ohio, in 2008 to provide high quality dental care. Since then he has continued his education with courses in implant dentistry, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. He has received a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and continues to study best practices and new techniques in all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Ahmed enjoys the artistry of dentistry, as well as the knowledge of cutting edge science and techniques for incredible results. To create a beautiful smile, perfect teeth, and a healthy mouth, the artistry is very important. His focus is on providing excellent patient care, serving individuals and families – from kids to great-grandparents, in a community-based practice.
Tested technologies and specialty services are incorporated with best practices every day, not just offered a few days a month.
He enjoys building relationships and involvement in the communities he serves. Dr. Ahmed shares his interest in art and artists, traveling, and enjoys spending time with his family. Reflecting his passion for motorsports, he recently became a contributor to a national publication for dentists, Incisal Edge, writing reviews of automobiles.
Dr. Ahmed received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, followed by a Doctor of Dental Science from the New York University College of Dentistry. He then attended a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey.
Dr. Bradley Stanciu DDS
Dr. Stanciu brings 30 years of expertise as a general dentist to Dental Innovations. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of dentistry in 1989 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He and Dr. Ahmed share a friendship that has grown over 15 years, a number of those years spent working together as colleagues. Dr. Stanciu’s undergraduate education was completed at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Engineering where he was accepted into an accelerated curriculum in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He continued to explore his scientific interests and was chosen to join a research team in the Department of Periodontal Pathology and Molecular Biology where cutting-edge research led to discoveries in the field of immunology. As part of his research program, he found himself instructing post-doctoral Dermatology Residents techniques of tissue culturing in the Medical school at the University. Dr. Stanciu understands that continuing education is an essential element for any technical field in order to innovate and progress. He completes courses every year, to remain current with the latest advances. He has received training in the restoration of several implant systems and with Invisalign. Dedicated to patient care, Dr. Stanciu makes every effort to comfort his patients and gain their confidence through his understanding of each individual’s needs and desires. When Dr. Stanciu is not chair side caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family. His interests include: cooking, golf, travelling, attending concerts, skiing and astronomy. He met his wife when they were in dental school in Chicago, and they moved to Toledo in 2003 and have 2 daughters.
Kathy – Registered Dental Hygienist
Kathy has been a Dental Hygienist in our practice for 15 years, she continued her education as a Dental Hygienist graduating from Rhoades College in 2000.
She enjoys working with patients that she has seen in the practice for the past 30 years.
Kathy also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Kimberly – Dental Hygienist, EFDA
Kimberly began her dental career in the administrative side of a dental practice in 1999 but realized her great interest in working hands-on with patients. She began assisting and returned to school to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. Kimberly provides our patients with the best care she can by educating them on the best ways to improve and maintain their dental health. She has a particular interest in working with children. Her goal is to lower patients’ anxiety toward dental treatment and listen to patients’ concerns.
Kimberly enjoys her family, friends, reading, yoga and nature.
Kennedy – Dental Hygienist
Kennedy is a 2017 graduate from Owens Community College. She enjoys meeting and getting to personally know patients on a daily basis, as well as educating them about what’s best for their oral health. In her free time, Kennedy loves spending time with family and friends, drinking coffee, and reading a good book.
Tina – Dental Hygienist
Tina has recently joined our Perrysburg Dental Innovations team. She has been practicing dental hygiene in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and South Carolina for 30 years. She recently went back to college to further her education earning her Masters of Science degree as well as taking classes in St. Petersburg, Fl at the Dawson Dental Academy and attending Anesthesia seminars in Chicago Illinois. She enjoys teaching biology and chemistry at the college level as well as teaching her patients about their dental hygiene and the environment that encourages good dental health. Tina volunteers with Dog rescues doing fostering, transporting, surrenders and adoptions. She has 3 rescue dogs of her own. She is a part of a blended family that includes 5 kids and 3 young grandchildren. She enjoys dogs, cooking and baking, nature adventures, tennis, relaxing on the patio with a good book and spending time with her family.

Brittney- Scheduling Coordinator
Brittney attended Penta Career Center for Dental Assisting. She has been with Dental Innovations since 2008. She enjoys working in a team-oriented atmosphere in a patient-based practice.
Brittney enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Bri – Scheduling Coordinator
Bri attended a dental assisting program in Richmond, Indiana. She enjoys meeting new people and working in a friendly family environment.
Bri and her husband have one daughter. She and her husband enjoy watching their daughter play sports and spending time together.
Amanda – Business Team
Amanda has been with Dental Innovation for 11 years and truly loves the day to day operations of dentistry, but most of all she enjoys helping patients reach their goal of a healthier smile. Amanda is a mother of 3 busy children that enjoy softball and baseball. Amanda enjoys scrapbooking in her free time.
Erica – Business Team
Erica is the newest member of our team and a Perrysburg native.
She has been in the Dental industry for years, using her business degree to focus on the business side of dentistry. She has an outgoing personality and loves building connections with patients.
Erica stays active in athletic activities and is a huge sports fan including basketball, football, and baseball. She also enjoys coaching her daughter’s sports teams.
Erica is also a fan of all music ranging from 90’s rock to country.
She also loves spending time with her family on the weekends, campfires, cooking, and her black Lab, Lillie.
Our Dental Assistants:
Jennifer – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Jennifer has been working at Dental Innovations for over 5 years, as an EFDA and Dental Hygienist. Jennifer’s career first started in the dental field in 2002 by joining the air national guard right out of high school. She stayed in the military for six years as a dental assistant while she was in dental hygiene school at The Ohio State University. After four years, she received a bachelor’s degree in the Science of Dental Hygiene in 2006 and has been practicing ever since. She enjoys seeing people’s mouth change for the better in overall health and appearance.
She’s also a wife and mother. She and her husband have two handsome boys and two dogs. They love to travel as much as possible and spend time with family and friends.
Kara- Dental Assistant
Kara is a dental assistant and graduated from Owens community college as a certified dental assistant. Kara has been working at Dental Innovations for 3 years.
Kara enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Tracy – Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Tracy has enjoyed working Fridays with Dr. Ahmed in Grand Rapids since September of 2017, and has recently joined the Perrysburg office as well.
She has been a dental assistant for more than 25 years and received her EFDA certificate form Owes Community College in 2012. She loves being a hands-on dental team member and truly enjoys meeting and getting to know new people every day.
Tracy enjoys traveling often, cooking and walking at the park with her 2 dogs. She lives in Bowling Green with her husband and 2 children.
Mackenzie – Dental Assistant
Mackenzie became certified as a dental assistant in 2018 through Owens Community College. She works at the Perrysburg office and also lives in Perrysburg.
Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her free time and traveling every chance she gets.
Miranda – Dental Assistant
Miranda graduated from Ross Medical Education Center in 2016 and has enjoyed dental assisting ever since. Her favorite part of her job is being able to help people gain confidence back in their smiles.
In her spare time she enjoys Netflix, coffee and spending time with family.
Valenscia – Dental Assistant
Valenscia graduated from Ross Medical Education Center in 2019. She has had the chance to work with some amazing doctors, meet some amazing patients and see many different procedures. Her overall favorite part is being a part of a team that changes others oral health for the better and giving her patients the inspiration to continue to stay on top of their oral health. In her spare time she loves being surrounded by family and friends, having movie nights and doing activities outdoors.
America – Dental Assistant
America has recently joined our Perrysburg Dental Innovations team. She comes from a military family, recently moving to Ohio. Her first degree is in Graphic Design, and she earned a degree in Visual Arts while living in San Antonio. America loves the idea of incorporating her design expertise into her recent degree as a Certified Dental Assistant from Owens College, in being part of the before and after creation of beautiful smiles. She has also worked as a volunteer at Halim Clinic and says she is very happy to see the patients leave happy after receiving a much needed treatment.
America loves art, design, biology, and archaeology, but her main passion is her family and two small dogs.
